Boy, 2008 is barely three weeks old and already the stock markets here in the U.S., and abroad have been on a terrifying roller coaster ride. Even with free stock market quotes, it's hard to know where to find hot stocks to watch. But even with all the chaos my stock investment research has uncovered, I still managed to learn of a few hot stocks to watch over the next few months. Seven Summits Research has just put out its own guide of Hot Stocks to Watch. Among the hot stocks to watch, according to Seven Summits: "eBay Inc. , Pfizer Inc. , CSX Corporation , Wachovia Corporation and Hartford Financial Services Group Inc." Personally, I find the choice of eBay as one of the hot stocks to watch somewhat puzzling considering the rumors that eBay's CEO will soon be ousted and replaced. Wachovia also strikes me as an odd choice, when you think about all of the turmoil roiling the big financial institutions, including Wachovia. My own stock investment research has shown that big banking outfits like Citigroup and Wachovia will probably be taking more big hits this year as the housing crisis continues to implode.
