Do you use stock investment research software to assist with your stock market investing? Or do you just go with what is popular on the stock market and figure this is your stock investment research? Personally I read financial magazines and also do stock investment research using online software. I recently came up with a list of a few of the best mutual funds to invest in.

1) Blue Chip Growth Fund. (TRBCX)---Invests in medium and large blue chip companies.

2) New Horizons Fund. (PRNHX)---Invests in smaller, faster growing companies.

3) Emerging Markets Stock Fund. (PRMSX)---Invests in companies in developing countries.

4) International Discovery Fund. (PRIDX)---Invests in small to mid-size global companies.

5) New Era Fund. (PRNEX)---Invests primarily in the energy sector.

Remember a fundamental rule when doing stock investment research-----look beyond the current stock price or trend of a mutual fund or any stock for that matter. Research the fund's or companie's long-term performance, potential for growth, emerging products or technology, assets, ROI, liquidity and how much reserve cash the company or fund has in case the bottom drops out.
