Whew, is it just me, or has it been a turbulent year in the stock market? Frankly, I've seen more ups and downs in the stock market than a yo-yo on a bungee cord. Synopsis Inc. will likely post earnings of at least 36 cents a share in the fourth quarter of 2007. Gunmaker Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. will probably have earnings of 6 cents a share for its second quarter earnings. Gildan Activewear looks to be one of the hot stocks to watch, with 38 cents a share in the fourth quarter, while Covidien Ltd. really looks to be one of the hot stocks to watch, as it is expected to post earnings of 59 cents a share in the final quarter of 2007. These are some of the hot stocks to watch in this final quarter of 2007, and in the first quarter of 2008.
